Interested in Volunteering with HCCF? We Want to Hear from You.

We believe that strong foundations are built by the people they serve. That's why we are excited to announce a new opportunity for Huron County community members to express interest in volunteering with HCCF as a Board Trustee or committee member.

A New Way to Get Involved

This year, for the first time, HCCF has launched a formal interest form to make it easier for community members to raise their hand and say, "I want to help." Whether you've been following our work for years or are just learning about what we do, we want to hear from you if you’re looking to get involved.

What Roles Are Available?

We are seeking community members interested in serving in one of two ways:

Board of Trustees — Trustees provide strategic leadership and governance for HCCF. Board members attend monthly meetings, participate in at least one committee, and support our annual fundraising efforts.

Committee Service — Committees are a great way to contribute your expertise in a focused area, with a smaller time commitment than a full Board seat. Each committees meets at different intervals and support the work of the board in areas such as Grants, Finance and Investment, Governance, Fundraising & Events, and Scholarships.

How Does It Work?

Simply complete our online interest form. You'll share a little about yourself, your connection to the community, your areas of interest, and why you want to be part of HCCF's work. The form takes just a few minutes to complete.

All submissions will be reviewed by our Governance Committee. If there appears to be a potential fit, a member of our team will follow up with you directly. Please note that submitting the form is an expression of interest, it is not an application or a guarantee of a volunteer position.

Why HCCF?

The Huron County Community Foundation exists to strengthen our community by connecting donors with the causes they care about and supporting organizations doing meaningful work across our county. Our board and committees are made up of people who are passionate about Huron County and committed to making it a better place for everyone.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
