HCCF YAC Now Accepting Grant Applications

The Huron County Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is excited to announce that applications are now open for its next grant cycle.

Each year, YAC provides funding to projects and programs that make a positive difference in the lives of young people across Huron County. Through this grant opportunity, local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations can receive support for initiatives that benefit youth in our community.

YAC is a group of dedicated local high school students who serve as leaders in youth philanthropy and service. The committee reviews grant proposals, engages in service projects, surveys needs, and recommends funding for projects that create meaningful opportunities for youth. Their work helps ensure that young people have a voice in shaping the future of Huron County.

Organizations with ideas that support, engage, or empower Huron County youth are encouraged to apply. YAC members are eager to review creative proposals that address real needs and help strengthen opportunities for the next generation.

The Youth Advisory Committee continues to demonstrate the power of young people working together to invest in their community. You can support their work by contributing to the Youth Activities Endowment Fund, which provides funding for YAC service projects and grants.
