The Youth Advisory Committee, comprised of representatives from each of the area high schools, met at their regularly scheduled April meeting to review grant applications from multiple organizations and hear presentations.

The grant applicants were evaluated on a number of factors, including the YAC Needs Assessment Data, total youth impacted, and effectiveness of the project. Each year the YAC students dilegently review their applicants, hear presentations, and ask questions of the presenters. This year's grantees are as follows:

-Scheurer Healthcare Network - THRIVE and Mental Health Matters Programs

-Huron County CAN Council - Child Advocacy Center

-North Huron Schools - Preschool Playground
