Charting the course for long-term financial security

The Huron County Community Foundation is essentially a savings account for the county. Contributions that are made are invested and only interest may be spent for grant awards each year, so that funds continue to benefit the county into perpetuity.

The Schwab Managed Account Program with IPEX is helping the HCCF maintain its long-term viability to the community by making wise investment choices. The HCCF is currently working with IPEX to get a mixed blend that will benefit all of our and our donor's needs.  This reflects the goals of retaining principle, providing income to match the 5 percent spending policy, and long term growth in the fund.
